Land rights elusive for indigenous minorities

The report from The Cambodian Center for Human Rights about the indigenous peoples land rights states that bureaucratic inefficiency and “endemic” corruption are among the main reasons for loss of land among Cambodia’s 190,000 indigenous peoples.

Speaking at the launch of the report a few days ago, EU Ambassador George Edgars called on the government to “accelerate the CLT registration procedure”.
